Solving a brand problem...
With Class 365 trains being temporarily leased to ScotRail to cover for problems with other trains, they needed give these old Great Northern units a Scottish brand makeover. I was contracted through Stewart Signs to take on this challenge...
...with a clever twist
... and the answer was a stroke of design genius. By effectively reversing the ScotRail colour scheme, adding blue doors to the grey train, it gave an 'temp' ScotRail appearance without costing a fortune. Sometimes the best ideas are the most simple.
Adding a few surprises to Scotland's railway
ScotRail has also been the benefactor of other unique Sam Jessup Design work - from designing one-off logo schemes for notable occasions such as Halloween and Remembrance Sunday, to creating an 'elf on a shelf' character which was fitted in cheeky locations throughout their fleet on the run up to Christmas, the relationship between myself, Stewart Signs and the Scottish national operator continues to blossom, and long may it last!
